Of Course was founded by a Cambridge graduate to provide support with applications for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, proofread essays and dissertations, and offer strategic academic advice.
About me
I completed my undergraduate degree in Business Management at Queen Mary, University of London, with a year abroad at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. After graduating with First Class Honours, I started my first master’s degree, an MSc in Data Science with Bioinformatics at the University of Durham, which I finished with a Distinction and an overall average of 79%. I then completed an MPhil at Cambridge University in Basic and Translational Neuroscience, focusing on computational psychiatry.
Studying neuroscience has been a dream of mine since my exchange year at Cornell. To be able to transition into a STEM field, I maintained my academic excellence, researched the possible avenues for postgraduate study, and composed strong applications. My five years in higher education, which included Ivy League and OxBridge institutions, have equipped me with invaluable knowledge about what makes an application stand out as well as strategies to pass with flying colours. I now want to share this knowledge with current and prospective students looking to get the most out of their academic journeys.
My mission with of course
Of Course was born out of my passion to support others through their academic adventures – from writing up the first draft of a personal statement to proofreading dissertations. University can be very stressful, and at times it can feel like you are left to your own devices. Through trial and error, I learned to optimally formulate my personal statements, write high quality essays and dissertations, and navigate the tricky timeline and daunting requirements of applications.
